Helped Hewlett-Packard internal consultants redefine their organization's
role and become a strategic partner in fulfilling division business plan
objectives. Conducted assessments and identified solutions. Facilitated
workshops to address findings and collaboratively develop a path for change.
Conducted needs assessment for Unity Church of Portland in preparation for
visioning process. Facilitated board retreat that produced a common vision
and defined next steps for a community outreach plan.
Helped the San Diego Hospital Council develop a common vision and tactical
plan for assessing and responding to health care needs region-wide for
non-profit hospitals.
Conducted community needs assessment and facilitated ongoing decision-making
process for Otay Water District. Identified a technical solution that met
community needs and significantly reduced project costs.
As part of Master Plan Update process for Mission Bay Park, City of San
Diego, developed agenda and co-facilitated ten public meetings with
competing special interest groups and park users.

Facilitated bimonthly meetings between Los Angeles Department of Water &
Power and community advisory group to negotiate agreements on issues
associated with building a filtration plant in a nature sensitive area.

consensus by effectively facilitating "literally hundreds of issues at the
subcommittee level."
Facilitated interdisciplinary technical, scientific, and client military
teams for Theater Missile Defense program, Hanford Remedial Action program,
and Nuclear Electric Propulsion Space Test program. Advised military how to
develop presentations on sensitive information to be shared at major public
forums.
Resolved conflicts between Department of Energy, UC Davis, and the community
of Davis, California, regarding approach for cleaning up ground water
contamination problems and addressing animal rights. Conducted community
assessment and worked with engineers, scientists, and client to develop
intervention process.
